I was Nurse Ratchet for a day.

I was Nurse Ratchet for a day.
Posted by: janiedelite.
So here is the results of the long awaited nurse photo shoot. Anticlimatic, isn't it? Whatever. I would post pictures of Heather, but I don't know how she would feel with me posting pics of her like a sick stalker or something. I have a couple more photos on buzznet. whenever I get a copy of the album cover, I'll post that too.

Where does it hurt, again?

Well, my friends, tommorow is the day that I become what I always wanted to be...a nurse in a short and tight uniform with lots of make-up and a wig. Yes, it will be a joyous occasion. I've made sure to put batteries in my camera so that I may post my little heart out of all the pictures. Yes, I know you're excited, but it will be worth the wait. Well, probably not, because i'm a skinny little thing and there is a good chance that I will look retarded, but alas, not all is lost. Nurse #2 (Heather) is hot and looks even more hot in the costume. So, if i'm a total lost, i'll post my little heart out with pictures of her. Until then, here's another hot nurse to appease your impatience.

Andy WK

When I first saw this picture, I thought, "He's cute." I've seen him without the bloody nose. He wasn't as good looking. Are you disturbed? Not as much as I am.

Me and my girl

Me and my girl
We were drinking red headed sluts in a QuikTrip cup and eating sushi at Piedmont while talking about the philosophies of life. So you see, not only am I a drunkard, but i'm a philosopher as well. So stuff that in your pipe and smoke it! I heard someone say that today.

|

I saw Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and I wasn't disappointed. I think it could have been better, but it was better than I expected. Sam Rockwell (one of my favorite actors) did a fantastic job. Go see it, but only if you read and liked that book. By the way, I know it dosen't come out until Friday. I managed to catch a pre screening or pre show...or pre something.

Read and learn, womenfolk.

I have read the rules carefully and I am now fully confident I am ready for marriage. Better get that Turkey ready. My favorites are "his topics of conversation is more important than your", "Never question him" and the part about me knowing my place.

I hate the Maury Povich show. Just wanted to get that out.
I just got back from Savannah today. It was ok. I just couldn't have that much fun with people I didn't know. Watching them get wasted was fun though. Speaking of wasted, my friend Ryan got really drunk and proceeded to run through the streets of Savannah at 3 in the morning without shoes or socks. They spent a considerable amount of time chasing him down and trying to keep him from hurting himself (he did anyway) and hurting anybody else. He barely remembers any of it, but he regrets it deeply.
We went to the beach. It was freezing. I barely got any sleep, and I didn't take a shower for 2 days. All in all, a decent weekend.

I'm in a blogging frenzy today. I just had to post this. I present to you: Today in History. 65 years ago today, the Rhythm Club, located in Natchez, Mississippi went down in flames in what will be one of the most tragic fires in history. While this tragedy was lost in the passage of time, this article is what brought it back to life today. This is the actual article used in the local paper the day after the fire which reminds me why I am so grateful to not have been born in that era. This post is dedicated to the memory of those 207 PEOPLE who lost their lives. They were human beings and they should have been referred to as such instead of being reduced to anything less.

|

My mother just ressurected two of my ex-boyfriends at the same time. This old pic of me and one of them, and some drawings made by the other. Scary. I forgot the first ex was good looking, but the pic is black and white. I look good too because the pic is blurry and the absence of color.

|

I saw a little girl who looked just like this Precious Moments figurine. I guess the girl's parents are pretty good looking, but that kind of cuteness is frightening. It's amazing how our genes work. The little girl is probably going to end up being the antichrist.

|

I had two Jager Bombs and half a chocolate cake tonight. Sounds like nothing because it is. In about 8 hours I will be cavorting (yes, cavorting) to Savannah with four guys. I plan on getting very wasted for the entire weekend, so I may or may not be able to blog while in this state of inebriation. If you care, of course. Whenever you get the chance, have a Jager Bomb. It's like drinking Kool-Aid...but not.

"Overtime pays more because of what you're missing. Money isn't everything." Those could be words to live by if it wasn't in a Citi Bank commercial. Who do they think they're fooling? I had a Citi Bank card and believe me, they were ALL about the money when they sent me a bill every month. And they were all about more money when I didn't send them the money I owed on time.

The white wedding is over.

Billy Idol is back. Looking scary as ever. I used to have a major crush on Billy back in his salad days. That blond hair and that chisled chest. But, then again, I was about 7 or 8 and I had a crush on Michael J. Fox too...

|

Where does it hurt?

I will be dressing up as a nurse and taking pictures that will be on the cover of a nationally distributed album. I'm pretty excited about it. As soon as I get the final picture I will post it EVERYWHERE so you won't miss it. You don't care now, but you will. Oh yes, you will. Just giving y'all a heads up.

What?!?

It's amazing what kind of fights can break out when two people misinterpret the other. One minute you're talking about the weather in China, the next you're trying to beat the other person down because you think they said you were a dumb jerk who fucks minors. Well maybe not, but it could happen. Just remember to take a deep breath and say "Excuse me?" in a menacing I-know-they-didn't-say-that-to-me tone and everything will be explained rather than smacking each other and calling each other bitches or something like that. (Kory and Will)

hmmm...

I saw a one legged construction worker today. I felt bad for finding that funny, but really, what does a one legged man construct? Or maybe it was a crafty homeless guy who happened to find one of those reflective orange vests. Why a homeless guy would do that is beyond me, but the fact that I saw him in the first place still mystifies me.

Amen.

I like driving by churches and reading the little catch phrases they put on their message boards to convince you that you need to worship with them and not those other churches. My favorites so far are "Free trip to heaven! Details inside." and "A closed bible opens the door to hell." They either use humor or fear to try to get you in. It shows what kind of people run that church and the kind of people who attend it. I don't think I will ever drive by a church that will succeed in pulling me in, because that will be pretty much impossible since i'm damn near atheist (sorry Grandma), but to the churches that makes me turn my head and read your message again, good job. Keep up the good work.

Viva la revolucion!

*Update*

Please take notice of the new sidebar addition, What I'm reading. I just wanted to let you know it would probably take me months to change it even though i will probably go through about 20 books in the meantime. I'm a lazy bum so I wanted to put that in the open now. I have no idea where that link will take you because my computer is acting shitty, so if you happen to click on it out of curiosity or boredom (I don't really care), please let me know what you see. Or not. Whatever. I'll probably figure it out on my own eventually. Alrighty. You may resume whatever you were doing.

A friend of mine was in jail for a couple of weeks down near Macon. He was released a few days ago and he came to my job today to let me know he was ok. This is what he had to say about it.

"Deliverance is real, man."

Scary.

America!

Haven't had your daily dose of good old fashioned American inspiration? No worries! Click here and you will be proud to be American once again.

|

What a day.

I went out on the town today. This is what I did;

*I saw Superman at a liquor store. He was in the form of a homeless guy in a home made (or dumpster made) costume, but I knew who he was.

*I took public transportation (Go Marta!) because it was so pretty and gas cost $2.18 at QuikTrip.

*I went to Lenox and was reminded why I hate going there.

*I saw Satan's spawn at the mall in the form of a 2 year old child screaming his fucking head off.

*I bought a Sin City novel I haven't read. The movie didn't veer far from the story at all. I like that.

*I went to an art show (well, tried to) and saw two clone soldiers from Star Wars trying to convince the door security they were part of the show. It was a hip hop event, by the way. They weren't very convincing.

*I saw my past and realized that I will never be happy to see him ever again.

*Was denied entrance to the before mentioned art show because of "fire hazards" even though people were constantly leaving. There was about 50 people left in the building and 400 people outside, who waited for hours to get in, but they still wouldn't admit anyone in. My past and other people who didn't wait 2 1/2 hours like I did made it in somehow. Including the clones.

I had a pretty good day up until the art show. After watching the dickhead fire marshalls make sure everyone outside trying to get in knew they had smaller dicks than them, I didn't much want to deal with anyone. So, it may be a while before I go out on the town again.

The music links work now. If you wanted to know or care, that is. Except for Chromeo. Still working on that one.

|

whoops

I had to put out a little disclaimer. I just added more links of music I listen to. I did something wrong, so none of the links work. Sorry. I don't have time to fix it now, so I'll fix it later.

What the fuck?!

Now the damn thing is on the page. Maybe I should say fuck it more often. Things seem to work out when I do.

|

I've been trying to get a site meter on my page, but it isn't working out too well. I already have a counter (refer to bottom of the page) but I want the site meter because it tells you who 's been on your site. Why do I want to know all that, you ask? Because I do. For some reason, people are actually reading this page, or at least walking through, but I wouldn't know it if it wasn't for the counter. Fuck it. I lost all interest in that endeavor while writing this post.

|

FInally!

So I finally figured out how to post pictures without having to use Flickr or Buzznet, so now I can post my little heart out even quicker. I think I'm getting the hang of this pretty quickly. Now, next order of business. How to change the header pic. I'm getting there. Anyway, after my night of partying until 4 in the morning. It's time to go to work. Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it.

Sometimes I think the only way to stop ignorance is to kill the ignorant people. It would do the world a favor and give me a lttle satisfaction.

Oh yes. Watch your back.

Assassin

You are an
assassin.

That means you are a proffessional and do your
job without mixing any emotions in it. In your
life you have probably been hurt many times and
have gotten some mental scars. This results in
you being distant from people. Though many
think that you are evil, you are not. What you
really are is a person, trying to forget your
pain and past. You are the person who never
seems to care and that is why being an assassin
fits you good. Atleast, that's what people
think. Even if you don't care that much for
your victims, you still have the ability to
care and to generally feel. It is not lost,
just a little forgotten. In crowds you tend to
not get to noticed, and dress in black or other
discrete colours. You don't being in the
spotlight and wish people would just leave you
alone. But once you do get close to someone you
have a hard time letting go and get real down
if you loose him/her.

Sin City is fuckin AWESOME!! I knew it was going to be good the first time I saw the trailer, but it exceeded everything I thought it was going to be. The cinematography was beautiful, the storyline was excellent, the actors was great. I enjoyed it. Go see it.

I just checked out the link I left for the movie, which is way different than the one I saw a few months ago and the movie looks pretty good. The only wierd thing is Ford Prefect is played by Mos Def. I've seen him act and he's good, but that is a wierd character to play. I'm excited about the movie now. Goody.

|

Don't Panic!

I found out a few months ago that they are making a movie adaption of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hollywood does have a reputation of butchering good books into horrible movies, but I will give them a chance.

Will and I went over to our friends house for a Tekken tournament. If you don't know what that means, well, I'm a nerd so it's understandable that not everyone can be as nerdy as me. Anyway, I kicked ass, so nerd or not, I rock at that game.

Who is John Galt?

One of my favorite books is Ayn Rand'sAtlas Shrugged. (If you haven't read it already, you should.) I love the way the author was able to make a story about greed and corruption so beautiful, if that makes any sense. I love the story so much that when I get a pet, i'm going to name it (if it's a girl) Dagny, which is the heroines name. The point of this is, I ran across this blog today called "Henry Rearden, please" which is a refernce to the book that I don't feel like explaining. I don't know what I was expecting exactly, but it wasn't a blog with a mixture of what the aurthor did that day and erotic poetry. I was kind of disappointed, but the poetry is interesting.

Fitness of the Future!

Feel the burn, bitches!
Remember the Tae-Bo craze that swept the nation a few years ago? I saw my mothers dusty Tae-Bo VHS set in a box in the garage. Long forgotten. I think she watched the first tape once, did the excercise for about ten minutes, sat down to rest, and never picked it up again. So here's to investments that seem like a good idea at the time, but a waste of money in the end.

|

I told Will about the cat's attempts at interspecial relations. He says the neutering has to wait until he gets this coupon in the mail or whatever. It's a good thing the dog has no idea what the cat is attempting. She just sits there while the cat stands on its back while trying to figure out how to mate with an animal twice its size. It's wrong, but hilarious to watch the confused look on the cats face.

Sin City

Sin City, originally uploaded by Janie Delite.

I am so excited about this movie. Tuesday will be the night.

|

We've got to get the cat neutered. It's trying to impregnate the dog.

Gotcha, Sucker!

A couple years ago, my boyfriend and I was walking down the street when he told me that he and his friend Kory (they're in a group together) was signed to a major label and got a $50,000 advance. I believed him for about 5 seconds when I realized what day it was and the fact that we were still walking when he supposedly had $25,000 in his pocket. I told him this and he came clean. We walked a little furthur and I said, "I forgot today was April Fools, now you won't believe what I have to tell you." 'What?" he asks. "Well, you know all those headaches I've had? I went to the doctor the other day and he did a CAT Scan and they found a tumor the size of a large grape." "Oh my God." he says. "I don't know how I'm going to afford to have it removed. The CAT Scan alone will take us a year to pay off." "I'll help. I'll get 2 jobs, no 3, and I'll help you." 'Thank you, baby, but you don't have to...sucker." I felt bad later because he was so upset about it. I haven't pulled an April Fools joke on him since.
